The project to connect fiber optic cables is being implemented to enhance the efficiency of internet services. Additionally, projects are being carried out to improve the quality of communication services by providing mobile network stations and establishing new coverage stations for mobile phone services
Low voltage network or secondary network constitutes a portion of the electrical power distribution system that conveys electric energy from distribution transformers to electricity meters for final customers. These networks function at a lower voltage level, generally equivalent to the voltage of electrical devices.Low voltage networks transmit electricity from high voltage transmission lines to residences and businesses via step-down transformers situated on utility poles or buried underground vaults. After being decreased to safer levels, this electricity proceeds along secondary wires until arriving at individual structures where it is further lowered to levels suitable for consumer utilization.Low voltage networks serve a critical purpose in distributing electricity securely and effectively to residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. Components comprising these networks include overhead conductors, underground cables, service drops, and client connections. To sum up, the low voltage network is responsible for carrying electricity from distribution transformers to electricity meters for end users, operating at a lower voltage level compared to primary networks. It guarantees the safe and dependable delivery of electricity to dwellings and enterprises
During this period, South Sinai Governorate witnessed significant achievements in electricity projects. Electricity projects were extended to Bedouin communities and villages, connecting them to cities, reinforcing networks, and linking electricity between cities and rough terrains. This ended the isolation of the residents of South Sinai, where inhabitants of those villages and Bedouin settlements used to have electricity for only 4 hours. Real projects have made a breakthrough in the province
During this period, South Sinai Governorate witnessed a remarkable achievement in electricity projects, where electricity projects extended to Bedouin settlements and villages, connecting them to cities, reinforcing networks, connecting electricity between cities and rugged roads, and ending the isolation of the people of South Sinai. The residents of those villages and Bedouin settlements used to receive electricity for only 4 hours until the electricity problem was solved with real projects that achieved a breakthrough in the governorate. The Egyptian government has invested billions of Egyptian pounds in electricity network development in South Sinai since July 2014, including the construction and upgrade of high voltage substations in Minya, South Sinai, Sharqia, Port Said, and Asyut Governorates in Egypt
